You might recall that in February 2021, we evaluated the retail categories that grew and shrunk over the year 2020. But how are things going so far in 2021? We decided to rank retail categories from biggest increase to biggest decrease between January 1 and October 10, 2021. Some of the "winners" and "losers" might surprise you, especially compared to last time. Take a look at one of our most popular data studies in the last couple of years!

Are You Using SiteSeer's Data Query Tool? 

We’ve had a lot of questions lately about how to perform ad hoc analysis outside the SiteSeer platform, and thought it was worth discussion in this month’s newsletter! Our Data Query Tool is available in the SiteSeer control panel, and allows you to download data and further analyze it in Excel (or your choice of system). Data Queries are great for answering questions you have about your sites—like which stores are your strongest and where your competition is.
