Micropolitan Arease on the Rise

Small Market GDP and Population Growth

Here at SiteSeer, we're all about the data. This month, we're looking at how GDP and population growth go hand in hand, springboarding from our series where we evaluate interesting trends, like the growth of micropolitan areas.

Since we've been exploring the topic of fast-growing markets, we thought we'd delve further: when a city or area experiences significant growth, is there a noticeable impact on the economy?

As always, we love your ideas! Email the team at info@siteseer.com if you have a suggestion for a demographic trend we should analyze.

Trade Area Rule Builder

In SiteSeer, you've always had the ability to design trade areas manually and using mile radius, drive time, and customer capture. Now you can use our Trade Area Rule Builder, which lets you create custom rules that change your trade area definitions based on factors like population density, daytime population, and presence of business. If your trade areas ever fall short, you can easily override the trade area definitions.

Call us with questions. And as always, if you have other enhancement ideas, submit them here.

Tour Mode

Tour Mode Enhancements Coming

Last September, we introduced Tour Mode for all users that have stores. Many of you have been using this feature in SiteSeer and offering your feedback, as requested, and we appreciate it greatly! We're excited to share that we've already introduced a major update to Tour Mode that improves speed and usability, and we are rolling out even more new changes. It will be faster and easier to use on mobile devices, and will provide better tools for viewing your markets in the field.

Keep an eye out for these changes, which will come in phases throughout the spring.

Email us your feedback on the new Tour Mode

Did You Know...?

Did you know that you can create scalable map labels in SiteSeer? Scalable labels change in size as you zoom the map to ensure that your text is always proportionately sized for the area. In Labels mode, type the text you want to show up on the map, then adjust the zoom to fit your preference.

Questions? Call your Client Success Manager or visit the Help menu.
